Peg didn't sleep much last night, so what little napping she gets may extend into a longer snooze if she's left alone. Karen just stopped by the house to let me know.
You all did so well summoning the Fart Fairy. Now we need the Sandman.
Ahhhhh.....a nice day of rest.....That's why we have Saturdays! I can relate to the no night of sleep thing. We had to leave the house at 5:50 a.m. for Kyle's flight to Germany where he's staying with 2 families whose daughters were foreign exchange students here last summer. Of course, why pack the day before, when you can work from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. then go out with your friends until 11 p.m., then do laundry and pack at 2 a.m. to get up at 5:45 a.m.? I was just the mom-slave/chauffeur and witness to these events. So you see, no one else seems to have gotten any sleep last night either! I wish you a very restful Saturday.
I'm so happy to hear that you are coming along so well. Hopefully today will entail a tastier solution to drink! I will now have to split my prayers between you and Kyle, as he will be spending 2 weeks witih threee 18 year-old girls who love to shop, so I must pray to the shopping gods for impulse control for Kyle! Of course, if the prayers get switched and you get a new summer sun dress out of the deal, that would be great!
Good Afternoon Peg, I am back from Camp Sac. for the 8th year. I was planning on coming by for a visit tomorrow (Sunday) but I can see now what you need the most is rest. It sounds like you are doing well, especially for such a major surgery. Eric's descriptions of your post-op brings back memories. You know that I will be right over if you need me to help you poop. See you soon, dear wifey.
