...but the port may still have to come out if it's a source of infection. A staph infection is nothing to monkey around with...it can become very serious very quickly.
Tomorrow Kristie, Peg's oncologist, will weigh in. But nothing will happen surgically until Tuesday at the earliest.
Peg looked better tonight. She has a pint of minty-fresh blood on board via IV and the antibiotics have kept her temps consistently normal.

I'm so sorry to hear about Peg's struggles. Damn those bugs! Don't they know it's not nice to hit a girl when she's down?

Thanks Eric for your information, wisdom,and humor. Please lay a big wet one on both your beautiful women and pass on to Peg that she is always in my thoughts and heart. Thanks also for the newsleter. I cut out the funny faces strip and now have a wonderful bookmark that make me smile many times a day. Thanks so much Eric for keeping us all so well informed. Please tell Peggy that she came to me in my dream the other night. She had beautiful long hair. She walked over to me and gave me some words of wisdom followed by her typical off-the-wall joke and loving smile. Tell her that she can come and visit again and again. I miss our laugh until you cry talks. There's no one like you Peggy Sue. LOVE YOU, Claudia Oh yea....Zoe looked like Kokopelli in her picture on the beach. Once again....only Zoe!
