Freedom is imminent for the Pegster!

Peg just called.  Dr. Elliott says he'll probably release her this afternoon.  She sounded great and says she feels so much better.

I've got a meeting downtown and will be at the hospital at 1.

Yay!

Hooray!! Peg, I am giving you a few days to get caught up on your sleep and to get your home slippers on; then I will be over to see you with good wishes from your patients.

Yea! Home is just what you need today. I assume that meals will start rolling this week. I also have my army of "Tidy Bowlers" standing in ready position if needed.

Home?.... No one to wake you up 4 times a day to take your vital signs? No one to come push on your abdomen and chart about it? No one to bring you broth and say, "Here's your first yummy meal?!!!!

Home.....Sounds of Zoe and friends frolicking in the next room! The hum of Eric's brain inventing some really cool idea for a new space alien to deocrate your living room! The sight of your sister belly dancing through the door in full garb and followed by 3 Russian folk dancers, down on the ground, kicking out their legs, to re-rev every emotion in your body.....

Yeah...Home...Where everyone fills you with warmth and love which brings a broad smile to your face every time you think of us all. Whether today or tomorrow, whenever .... Congratulations on moving along the adventure to see what new and wonderful surprises will find you at home!

Love,
Lori
P.S. May we still send you caring (well...okay...maybe goofy!) letters of encouragement on this blog? It has been so much fun!

Dear Miss Peggy,

How does one follow Lori when it comes to posting comments--I'm not even going to try. I

I'm just so glad to hear you're on your way home. I know it will be wonderful to be in your own bed and in familiar surroundings.
